Ivan Pokaz

Ivan Pokaz is a member of the Supervisory Board of Martes Investments.

He is a retired Brigadier General of the Croatian Armed Forces with extensive experience in intelligence, national security, defence planning, telecommunications and strategic analysis. 

During his career, Ivan served as Head of the Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces and previously as its Deputy Head. He later served as Croatia’s Defence Attaché to Austria and Slovakia and as Military Representative to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

Earlier in his career, he held technical, teaching and senior defence-related positions and worked in the fields of electronics, telecommunications and military technology.

Ivan holds a postgraduate degree in electrical engineering and has published and contributed to professional work concerning telecommunications, defence and national security.

As a member of the Supervisory Board, he contributes expertise in risk assessment, organisational oversight, security and strategic decision-making.
